Hello amazing friends! How are you doing during these cold January days? Well, of course some of you are living in a hot, sunny and warm places – and yes, I am jealous! The weather in Madrid isn’t going warmer but the opposite. And here comes the challenge to stay warm & chic in your everyday outfit choices and peaks. Believe me, it is!

The outfit above is so wearable and easy to accomplish. I am loving oversized wardrobe pieces recently – such as sweaters, coats and scarfs. Especially the scarfs. You could do a miracles only with one scarf in your hands and of course with your imagination. So be creative, be bold and try out new outfit combination and a lot of accessories! The big oversized scarf in the pictures above is from Stradivarius. These season the oversized scarfs like big cosy blankets are so trendy. I combined it with denim jeans and royal blue sweater from H&M. I really love the brown – royal blue color combination – as you can see my choice for jacket and boots is brown leather.

Baby, it’s cold outside!

Hello, beautiful friends, it’s been awhile since I haven’t posted a new outfit post on MaryPolka. These almost two weeks were crazy, I got sick, and yes it was awful. I cannot stand being sick, lying in the bed, drinking hot tea and taking pills. But thanks God I am feeling much better these couple of days. Despite the freezing and foggy weather in Madrid, we managed to shoot this look. Baby it’s cold outside! – I was literally freezing during the shooting. Blogging on those cold days can be quite challenging but still excited.

Hope you are having an amazing first days of 2015. Great things are coming ahead. Soon I am going to share with you some projects and collaborations with a great and awesome brands. So excited and I just can’t wait. Thank you for reading as always!

Happy 2015 dear friends! Hope you are enjoying the first days of the year! I cannot wait to see what the new year will bring to all of us! Be bold and beautiful! The best is yet to come! I wanted to thank you all of you for sticking with MaryPolka during 2014. I really appreciate that and it means a lot to me. My desire and wish for this new year is to be more and more inspired and to share with you new unique style ideas.

Today’s blog post is my first for this year. I am sharing one comfy and chic outfit. I am wearing all black leather with a pop of red color. I am in love with this red oversized scarf. One of my favorite color combinations is definitely – black with red. It look so stylish and chic. Another accessory I like about this look are the heart tights. I was searching for them all over Madrid and at the end of this month I found them in one H&M store. I was literally jumping and screaming the moment I saw them.

How are you lovely friends? How was your Christmas? Are you enjoying your vacation? I cannot believe that we are entering 2015 year! I am excited about the new and wonderful things coming for everyone! I personal, I am thankful for the huge opportunity to start MaryPolka and to share my style with you guys! Dare to dream and believe for the best year ever!

Here is a another outfit suggestion for the season. A cosy and comfortable look for everyday. I am wearing a dark blue coat in combination with black leather short and tights. As a accessory I chose the green bag which I really enjoy to wear recently. It is nor big and neither small – perfect shape for me. I think it looks great on that look – just a lovely pop of green color.
